Jewelry Care Guide

Clean and Keep Your Jewelry Dry After Each Wear
To keep your jewelry looking its best, clean it after each use and ensure it stays dry. While it might feel like an extra step, this simple habit makes a significant difference in your jewelry's shine and longevity. Perfumes, lotions, and natural oils from your skin can dull your jewelry over time, so give it a quick wipe with a soft cloth before storing.
Tip: Protect the plating by removing jewelry before washing dishes, exercising, cleaning, swimming (both chlorinated and salt water can harm metals), and doing any activity that may expose it to water or harsh chemicals.
Avoid using cleaners with acid, vinegar, or ammonia, as well as certain jewelry cleaners, as they may damage your pieces. Occasionally, alcohol wipes can be used to sanitize the back of earrings, but always ensure your jewelry is completely dry before putting it away.

Remove Jewelry When Not in Use
Make your jewelry the last item you put on after applying hairspray, makeup, or lotion, and be mindful that clothing doesn’t catch on it. When undressing, take off your jewelry first to prevent accidental snags or breakage, especially before going to bed.

Store Your Jewelry with Care
To prevent damage, store each piece separately in cotton, velvet, or plastic pouches. While jewelry boxes work, individual pouches offer the best protection. If possible, hang necklaces on hooks to prevent tangling and minimize contact with other pieces, which helps preserve their finish and prevents metal dulling.

Avoid Coating Your Jewelry
We don’t recommend applying any protective sprays or finishes on your jewelry, as these may alter or damage the original finish of your pieces.
